​Hi friend! We’re so glad you’re here—it’s a gift to us! We see you, but even more, God sees you --all of you. You are not your to-do list, your wins, or your mistakes. You are beloved—treasured, delighted in, and called by name. The God who parts seas has moved heaven and earth to reach you.

The heart behind this little corner of the internet? It’s you. We hope this feels like a warm space where we can grow in faith together, lean into our identity in Jesus, and cheer one another on. This is a place for women to pause, breathe, and remember: you are deeply loved, endlessly valued, and beautifully called by God.

We should introduce ourselves! We’re Catherine and Gemma-Elizabeth! I’m Catherine—lover of coffee, baggy sweatpants, vegetable gardens, words, and chocolate (always chocolate). I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years—wife, mom, nurse, organizer, author, cancer survivor, wannabe surfer—but mostly, I’m just a girl who’s been rescued by Jesus and can’t stop talking about His kindness. Gemma and I were first connected when she was five years old, and for 18 years (12 of those through snail mail!) the Lord has been weaving our stories together in the sweetest ways. We're family. She and my husband share strikingly similar personalities, and my youngest daughter, Vada and I are clones of one another. Even though none of us share the same DNA, God has made us all Rackley's, and Gemma-Elizabeth and Vada are God's greatest gifts to my husband, William, and I. Now Gemma's all grown up and fresh out of college with a degree in Economics. She’s brilliant, thoughtful, a little sassy, and a poet at heart—basically the perfect balance to my messy-hands-in-the-garden, a million ideas swirling energy. She's philosophical, honest to a fault, pensive, and shares her dad's dry humor. What we share most is a love for God’s Word, because it points us straight to Him—the One who sees, knows, and loves us completely. This little corner of the internet is our way of inviting you to link arms with us and lean into Jesus together. We’re so glad you’re here—pull up a chair, grab your coffee, and stay awhile.

We all have a story and every story has suffering. To be alive is to experience suffering. Tear-Watered Blooms was written to vulnerably share a piece of my (Catherine's) suffering in hopes that you will bring your suffering to the tender feet of Jesus, who sees you.
