About Gemma-Elizabeth & Catherine

Gemma-Elizabeth

Hi there! I am Gemma-Elizabeth Sunday, a naturally quiet girl who can also talk and laugh for hours with close family and friends. I
absolutely love God with all of my heart. His amazing grace is the heartbeat of my story. Through every struggle, past
and present, His Grace has carried me, His grace will forever be the theme of my life. I have a big laugh, which used
to get me in trouble with my high school teachers. Simplicity is my style and I love to find joy
in the little things. For this die-hard meat lover, good food is the way straight to my heart.I like to think that
I am very principled and unafraid to courageously stand up for what I believe in. I possess a quiet strength;
never the loudest in the room but perhaps the most observant. I am very likely to forget what you look
like, but I will never forget your birthday. My life is a beautiful mix of brokenness, redemption and faith, I look
forward to unveiling bits and pieces of myself for His glory, your encouragement, and my own freedom.

Catherine

Hi, I’m Catherine Rackley! I’m a mom on the edge of 40 with a beautifully scattered family — one daughter from Ethiopia who’s here under our roof in North Carolina, another daughter in Nigeria, and a child in Zambia we’re praying will come home soon. I write a lot about the Lord, mostly because writing helps me untangle what He’s teaching me (and honestly, I need all the help I can get to make sense of it sometimes). My 65 pound Sheepadoodle, Maybelle, is usually curled up beside me while I type in the wee morning hours, and when I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me in my veggie garden, sneaking chocolate, homeschooling my 3rd grader, or running my professional organizing business. A few years ago, I wrote a book called Tear-Watered Blooms about God’s goodness in the middle of suffering. Now, I’m so excited to share this little corner of the internet with my daughter, Gemma-Elizabeth. Our hope is simple: that as you read, you’ll feel God’s delight over you—right where you are, on whatever continent you’re reading from. Most of all, welcome, friend.
