For the past three years, this little corner of the internet has been my quiet space to write, reflect, and share my heart with you. Every post, every recipe, every spiritual lesson I’ve tried to untangle with words has been a gift—thank you for being here for it all. I truly treasure it here.
Over the last few months, I’ve felt a deep stirring from the Lord to shift this space. I prayed. I fasted. I asked friends to pray with me. And now I’m so excited to share what He’s been writing on my heart.
Moving forward, this won’t just be my writing space anymore—it will be ours. My Nigerian daughter, Gemma, is joining me here! You’ve seen her guest posts before (if not, go peek at them—they’re beautiful!) and you’ve certainly heard me talk about her. She’s a gifted writer and poet, wise beyond her years, and currently beginning her required year of military service in Nigeria after graduating 6 long years of college.
Gemma and I have long shared our hearts privately—WhatsApp messages filled with prayers, devotions, poems, and late-night musings about God and life. Now, we’re opening that rhythm to you. One week you’ll hear from her, the next from me. Sometimes we’ll jump in together, working on projects or sharing our thoughts side by side. We’ll also invite guest writers from time to time—women who are out there living faithfully and quietly encouraging others.

Our heart for this space is simple but strong: Faith. Identity. Encouragement. We want this to be a place where women who feel unseen, tired, or forgotten can be reminded of this truth: You are loved, you are valued, and you are called by God.
I'll still be posting a recipe now and then like before (because I just can't help myself)—but mostly you’ll find encouragement for your soul, right where you are...and some humor too, because we're big believers in that (Gemma is hilarious, fyi).
So here we are: a mother-daughter duo, one in her early twenties on the continent of Africa, one in her late thirties in North America. Two women who love each other deeply, whose stories God has chosen to weave together, who love God and His message of grace, and who want to meet you here in this cozy corner of the internet.
I'm so excited for you to know Gemma more. In fact, she’ll be sharing her first post in this new chapter tomorrow! We can’t wait to journey with you.
